Arizona Bike Maker Builds 6-Pound Racing Model

Fairwheel Bikes, a bicycle manufacturer based out of Tucson, Arizona, took their craft to new extremes with the introduction of their new six pound racing model. It cost them$45,000 to build but considering that it’s a 10-speed rear gear, I’d say that’s an acceptable pricetag.
Unfortunately, this won’t have any real impact on professional racing. (The minimum weight allowed for a bike on the pro circuit is fifteen pounds.)
